God of Covenant, A study of Genesis 12-50  By Jen Wilkin 

“IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?” GENESIS 18:14 

In Genesis 1-11, we see our God as Creator of the universe. In Genesis 12-50, we see Him as the Covenant Maker.  Starting in chapter 12, Jen Wilkin walks through the stories of the fathers of our faith – Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. We discover how God is working everything together for His glory and the good of His people. Through these chapters in Genesis, we witness image bearers who sin and wrestle to maintain trust in the only One who will fulfill every promise, the One for whom nothing is too hard. In every page, we learn to see Jesus through the stories of His people. Come discover how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 

You will: 

  • *View the lives of familiar people in the Bible in the larger context of Scripture, understanding how every story points to Christ 

  • *Walk verse by verse through Genesis 12-50, tracing the themes of covenant, resurrection, redemption, and hope. 

  • *Learn how to study the Bible, growing in your understanding of who God is.

Philippians: CHASING HAPPY  

Many of us spend our lives chasing 'happy' through relationships, success, and the next adventure. Yet, we only discover a dryness in our souls. Why? Because we're chasing the wrong kind of happy. We chase temporary happiness instead of the eternal happiness found in Jesus. 

The problem isn't that God doesn't want us to be happy. The problem is that we're chasing happy in the wrong things. Happiness is ours when we chase God's joy, His purpose, His unity, His contentment, and His peace. Happy is captured when we chase Him.
